Akranes HI Hostel is originally build as the towns Pharmacy - and the house itself goes by the name Apotek. Conveniently located in the small coastal town Akranes and only a 30 minutes’ drive from Reykjavik. Making it a great option for budget travelers wanting to enjoy and experience Iceland. All rooms include towels, linen, garden view and access to shared bathroom and toilet. All rooms are non-smoking throughout the guesthouse. Free parking is included. Guests have access to a shared kitchen and a shared lounge with and a TV area.

Our office is open from 8:00 AM to 20:00 PM.

Easy and comfortable self -check so guests are free to arrive anytime after 16:00 hours and check- out is before 10:00 o´clock in the morning. Staff member always available on assistance phone and do not hesitate to send us any special requests that you might have.
